Thank you all for your prayers over the past week. We are happy to report that we are fully operational once again. Our power has been restored and roads are being re-opened, so we are back in business.
This has all been a new experience for us, however it is good to grow in areas where we are weak. We have learned a lot over the past 10 days about serving others. In serving others we don’t have time to focus on our own troubles, and our troubles in comparison to many are very small. We witnessed great devastation to the homes of our neighbors and watched as homes and cars washed down the creek in front of our house. We are grateful for the protection that was on us and continue to serve those who may need our help.

Above Rubies is a non-profit organization that supports women in their biblically mandated roles of wife and mother. It encourages women in these roles, and brings the light of truth to expose worldly deception in our hearts, minds, and homes. God is moving, turning the hearts of fathers and mothers back to their children!
We want to thank you, again, for supporting the Above Rubies Tennessee Retreat last year! It was such a spiritually renewing and refreshing time for so many women!
The Tennessee retreat is coming up again, in August, and we look forward to a much larger retreat this year! If you would be interested in supporting us again this year, by donating a few of your lovely aprons, or patterns, we would very much appreciate it!
This retreat is a special time of rest for busy moms, and we would just love to be able to bless them! Their lives of service to their families are so important to us all!
