Lorrie Mathews has more than 19 years experience in the field of child development. She has owned and operated certified child care centers in several different states and has received countless hours of child development training, taught a 4 and 5 year old preschool class and held the office of Assistant Director for one of the nationally known “La Petite” child care centers. Lorrie taught Sunday school for preschool age children in 2 different churches, and helped developed curriculum used in teaching. Lorrie is a member of Middle TN Home Educators Associations. and homeschools her two wonderful children. Her years of teaching in various churches and child care centers has revealed to her the foundational importance of biblical roles with in the family. Lorrie believes that children are a blessing from the Lord and her love for them has inspired these delightful stories.

Lorrie was raised in a small town in Arkansas and grew up in a non-denominational spirit filled church there. After many years away from home and several years of travel around the US and Europe, Lorrie settled in the great state of Tennessee where she reunited with her family. There she is currently a member of “Covenant Family Fellowship”, a reformed home fellowship congregation, a small church dedicated to reuniting families in the worship of God.
